Start looking around now at public places for a changing table. THEY ARE HARD TO COME BY! A lot of places either don’t have them, they are broken, or they are unsanitary looking. I can’t count how many times I’ve had to change my babies diaper on my legs while sitting on the toilet… Do yourself a favor and buy a portable changing pad and solve those issues before they happen!

Q: Q-tips
Keeping wax build up out of the outer ear can help to prevent common ear infections in babies. Just make sure to never put the Q-tip inside of their ear, as you could damage their ear drum. Q-tips are also great to clean small bottle/toy parts!

R: Rocking Chair

You will need both, but make sure to get them as a combo. You don’t want to have to take baby out of their car seat to put them into a stroller. It’s so much easier for you and baby if you can just click the car seat into the stroller. Then, as they grow, they can sit in the stroller without the car seat.

Video monitors are more expensive than just a sound monitor, but the peace of mind they give you is priceless! Being able to see your baby will not only provide you comfort, but you can also learn their bedtime routines/habits by watching them and that will help you to sleep train them!

These are a must! Babies can’t have anything else in their crib with them to keep them warm. Footed pajamas do the trick and are good for all year round! Just remember to avoid the ones with buttons/snaps (you will be cussing at those little buggers in the middle of the night) and just go for the zippered ones!
