On June 8, 2024 we will be hosting our Annual LOVE like JJ 5k to benefit LOVE like JJ! This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community.

Join us as we use our eyes and ears to search for birds in the park, and explore how they find food, water, and shelter. We will learn about their songs, search for nests, and some binoculars will be available for kids to try out. Have you ever wanted to create your own “Fabulous Fairy Garden”?  Please plan to attend and this program and bring a grandchild, or just yourself, and learn to put together a quick and easy fairy garden! You will also take a quick guided tour through the James Ranch Garden for inspiration!  Following the tour, you will have the opportunity to make a project to take home with you. Kim Hupman, Horticulture Program Assistant, Ohio State University Extension, Greene County, will present this fun program and lead you through the process of creating your very own Fabulous Fairy Garden! Supplies will be provided.  This is a FREE program. Picnic tables are provided.  Please bring a chair or cushion for your comfort.
