Tech Free Tuesdays: Wetlands

A naturalist from the Warren County Soil & Water Conservation District will be joining us to kick off a fun summer outdoors! This program is free and open to the public. Smale Family Fun Day
Schmidlapp Event Lawn 124 E Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OhioSmaletastic summer fun for everyone! Bounce houses, puppet shows, petting zoos, live music, and free ice cream. It's a whole lotta fun for everyone at Smale family Fun Days. The event will be held at the schmidlapp event lawn in Smale park. The event will take place June 6th, July 11th, and August 1st from 10am-1pm. In partnership with Cincinnati Parks Foundation and UDF.
Love Like JJ 5k

This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community.
Toddler Trek: Bird Bonanza

We will learn about their songs, search for nests, and some binoculars will be available for kids to try out. Fabulous Fairy Gardening
James Ranch Park 177 Fairground Road, Xenia, OHHave you ever wanted to create your own “Fabulous Fairy Garden”? Please plan to attend and this program and bring a grandchild, or just yourself, and learn to put together a quick and easy fairy garden! You will also take a quick guided tour through the James Ranch Garden for inspiration! Following the tour, you will have the opportunity to make a project to take home with you. Kim Hupman, Horticulture Program Assistant, Ohio State University Extension, Greene County, will present this fun program and lead you through the process of creating your very own Fabulous Fairy Garden! Supplies will be provided. This is a FREE program. Picnic tables are provided. Please bring a chair or cushion for your comfort.

St. James Food Fest
St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church 6577 Branch Hill Miamiville Rd, Loveland, OhioThe St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church invites all to its annual Food Festival, a weekend celebration of Middle Eastern culture, cuisine, and entertainment. Enjoy savory dishes such as falafel and shawarma, and indulge in sweet treats like baklava. The festival will feature live entertainment, including performances by a Dabkeh troupe and belly dancers, with opportunities for interactive participation. There is a live camel on Sunday!Admission is a $2 donation per person.
Safe Sitter Workshop Landen
Countryside YMCA | Landen 2894 US-22, Maineville, OhioSafe Sitter is a nationally-recognized program that gives kids ages 11-16 the skills and knowledge needed to safely care for children infants through school age. In this 1-day workshop, participants will learn choking rescue skills, how to handle life-threatening emergencies, how to keep themselves safe, when and how to call for help, and child development knowledge to help them become a safer and better sitter. Registration fee includes the Safe Sitter workbook. Refund/Cancellation Policy as of October 6, 2022:Cancellations/Withdrawals before the Monday PRIOR to the workshop date will receive: Full Refund/Credit OR free transfer to the next Safe Sitter workshop. A program withdrawal form must be completed at the Front desk. Cancellation/Withdrawal Tuesday-Thursday 6pm PRIOR to the workshop will receive a System Credit minus a $5 service fee or Free transfer to the following Safe Sitter workshop. An email must be sent to jaime.spurlock@ymcastaff.org so we can attempt to fill the open spot for the workshop. No Refunds/Credits for cancellations/withdrawals after Thursday 6pm prior to the workshop.
