Creamy Chicken Lasagna | What time is supper??
This super easy, no ricotta, creamy chicken lasagna will alter your reality of what you think lasagna should be! This lasagna recipe will have your taste buds singing while leaving your body ready to dance! For this cream chicken lasagna is filling but not heavy!
As a former athletic trainer and a fitness enthusiast, the two most important things to me for meals are:
- That I am eating foods that are good for my body, mind, and metabolism.
- That I am eating sustainable foods. Foods that fill me up without loading me down.
As a mom, the two most important things to me when it comes to dinner are:
- That my kids are eating foods that are good for them.
- That I don’t have to spend all day making it!
This creamy chicken lasagna recipe checks ALL of my boxes!
Substituting ricotta with sour cream in this chicken lasagna recipe cuts calories but also helps to speed up your metabolism. For sour cream is high in CLA. CLA is a healthy fat found in the digestive track of animals. Choosing certain meats and dairy that contain CLA can help to burn fat and build muscle. The chicken and cheese (as long as it is from grass-fed cows) are also high in CLA! This makes my athletic mind VERY happy!
The fact that I can prep this meal during naptime and then simply throw it in the oven to have a complete meal ready in no time is EVERYTHING! And my kids actually eat this! Mind you, I do dice up the veggies in this recipe SUPER small so that my toddler doesn’t detect them and my baby can eat them too!
